    DoPremium Edge Guards are manufactured from high-strength polyethylene which is extremely strong and crack resistant. The Doleco USA Edge Guards are light weight, easy to use and extremely durable, making them perfect for the today’s trucking environment. Extremely strong for tough, heavy loads, yet still flexible to accommodate uneven loads and odd shaped cargo. DOT requirements specify that all loads should be secured in such a way as to assure that no pieces come loose, endangering those behind.. Section 393.102 section (5) of the FMCSA Federal Rule states: Edge protection must be used whenever a tiedown would be subject to abrasion or cutting at the point where it touches an article of cargo. The edge protection must resist abrasion, cutting and crushing.
